Key Features

Reverse Design: Displays a crowned eagle with wings spread, holding a cross in its beak. In the center, there is a shield featuring the royal crown and the double "C" monogram of Carol II.

Obverse Design: The other side of the coin features the left-facing profile of King Carol II with the inscription "CAROL II REGELE ROMANILOR".

Composition: Primarily copper (79%), with zinc (20%) and nickel (1%).

"KN": Struck at King's Norton Metal Company, Birmingham.
