A scarce type of Ecu, the 1507 year Louis 12th of France hammered Gold Ecu with a porcupine.
This coin has a very clear and unfortunately chunk missing from it, however aside of that, the details are still in full and strong form throughout all of the surface.
Weighing in at 3.12 grams of .963 pure gold, this is a lovely budget example of French medieval history.
