Unique Hand Built Table (With A City Inside)

There's a lot to be said about this but I'll keep it as brief as possible and provide a link to the build photos which show the level of detail inside this unique hand crafted table.

Each part is designed and built from scratch by myself over the space of 53 weeks, I had aimed for a year but missed my deadline slightly.

Inside is the fictional Skid Row City featuring many different areas and insane details right down to the body of Walter White which can be found downtown.

There are two lighting options, daylight mode which turns on all of the strip lights inside or you can select night time mode which only turns on the street lights. Daylight mode is running on a 12V battery and night mode is run on a separate 4.5v system, both battery packs are built into the table. There are also two phone chargers so when the power goes not only do you still have light but you can charge your phones and tablets too.

The glass top is reclaimed glass from a slightly larger coffee table, there are some small scratches on the glass but just the usual age related ones, the glass can also be removed if you want to access inside the table.

Underneath there is a small shelf for storage.

This table was also briefly featured in RTEs nationwide on their special regarding the Rosslare Maritime Centre.
