Tall Elmtable Lamp

Elm table lamp. A beautiful piece for any room in the house. Hand made by a blind wood turner. Elm is fast becoming an extinct tree because of Dutch elm disease normally these trees grow between 80 and 100 meters but because of Dutch elm disease fungus that grows on the tree it kills them off. Any trees that do grow now only grow to about 5 meters before they succumb to the disease again. A rare piece of wood made into a beautiful table lamp with the natural curvature of the wood still left in the front of the peace. Measures 68.5 cm tall and a base diameter of 19 cm.
