An unusual pair of neat side tables with a bespoke mirrored geometric marquetry designed top with plywood base on turned tulipwood legs. These neat little tables have been completely refurbished with all old polyurethane finish on the top removed and re sanded and finished with 4 coats of natural beeswax giving a lovely warm understated sheen. The underside of the table and legs have also received an overhaul and were stripped re sanded and finished using a 0% VOC natural linseed based colour oil from Rubio MonoCoat in silky intense black which reflects the black work in the marquetry design. The marquetry is a mirrored geometric design meticulously arranged. The original maker has their mark on the underside but not a mark I recognise. These appear to be one off design, that could easily serve as end or side tables and even work as bedside tables. A lot of work & ❤️ obviously went into the original design and fabrication of these little gems. They are neat, sturdy and of a simple shape but offer great style.
