I am downsizing my furniture in advance of a house move, and this coffee table will have to go, as I have already purchased another coffee table for when we move!

It’s a lovely retro 50’s style coffee table which is at least 50 years old and probably dates to the 1950’s or 1960’s.

It is the perfect mid century modern coffee table for apartment living, as it is a nice small compact size suitable for a smaller living space.
But it’s still a useful size, with room for coffee table books or magazines, plus a couple of ornaments/plants etc. It’s tall enough to rest your coffee cup or lunch on.

The table has a rosewood effect formica top, which is super shiny. This has a black rubber and silver coloured metal edging.
The legs and magazine shelf are all solid wood which is stained to a very dark/black colour, and finished with the most cool original metal (brass?) feet in the shape of four sided pyramids.

The piece is in very good vintage condition, considering it’s age. The formica top is very shiny, and apart from one scratch, as photographed, is in very good nick. The edges of the table legs have some stain missing, where the rubbing reveals the wood underneath. I have left this as is, because the patina adds to the story of this table! The metal pyramid feet are somewhat dull or tarnished, but are in very good condition apart from that.

I’ve pretty much kept this in its original condition apart from cleaning it, but it could be stripped and repainted, and the feet shined up, but I’ll leave that up to the next owner!! The choice is yours!

The coffee table stands 17.25 inches/44cm tall and measures just shy of 30 inches/76cm in length by 15 inches/38cm in depth. The magazine shelf is roughly 12.5 inches/32 high.

Collection only, from Dublin 15, due to the size of the piece. Delivery may be possible, at a charge, depending on location and my availability.
