Wooden World time Mantel Clock
This unique Piece is a most probably Vintage Wooden World time Mantel Clock, handmade
Featuring a primary dial (perfectly running by battery As to see in photos) and 2 smaller auxiliary dials, which represent different time zones (unfortunately I dont know how to put new batteries in them)
One of the smaller dials is specifically labelled "Sydney"
The clock has a distinct three-dial layout on a solid wooden, heavy base, often referred to as a "Napoleon" or arched style case in similar models
All 3 clocks feature a Quartz label indicating it uses a battery powered electronic movement.
Material is honey coloured oak I presume.
The clock faces use Roman numerals for a classic, traditional aesthetic.
While this exact configuration including the specific "Sydney" label and the Mikey Mouse like ears for the extra dials appears to be a custom design it shares many features with traditional wooden Mantel clocks from brands like WM, Widdop, Seiko or Bulova.
Irish text underneath is saying:
SCRUDUITHE TEACTAIS translates to "Examination Results"
OBAIR THIONSCADAIL translates to Project Work.
Measurements of base, 20 cm x 20 cm, total Height 20 cm too
For me it is an absolutely amazing piece of art work
