Pedometer - 1910c - Henri Chatelain Paris - Working Very Well

Here we offer a very nice French Pedometer, which has a 46mm diameter Nickle Case.

It has an Enamel dial with Arabic Numerals graduated in Miles to 10 miles in 1/5 steps and a subs dial registered from 0 to 100 miles in steps of 10 miles.

The Nickle movement is stamped H C with a Bullseye Trademark and is activated by the swinging pendulum, as you walk. It is in very good condition, is working very well and both dials increment and re-set.

This French Pocket Pedometer by Henri Chatelain, is a piece of scientific history. It counts your steps by translating them into miles, in 1/5 increments and also keeps a record up to 100 miles of activity. It is made by the French company Henri Chatelain of Paris and dates to around 1910c. There is a button on the top, which resets the distance back to zero.

This Pedometer comes directly from a Collection, which was assembled over the past 60 years and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics.- Ref AHS - M
