Compass WW2 Type P10
Some sites say these were in Spitfires and Hurricanes others say they were in Lancasters. The first test date is 1942 so I suppose that's when it was made. I've seen some which have had the paint stripped and the brass polished. They look very well. This one is as original. It works.
Given the nature of the instrument I'd say collection is best.
