George III Gentleman's Chest of Drawers

For sale here is a superb original George III Gentleman’s Chest of Drawers.
Circa 1790 - 1820.

Chests of this calibre rarely come to market.
A Gentleman’s chest.

This is the classic - “two over three” chest.
The mahogany is a wonderful warm chestnut shade.
The top has a superior flame grain patination.

Recently restored to a superb standard.
The drawers are oak lined, as would be expected of a piece of this period.

The original “Swans Neck” drop brass handles are of a typical Georgian design and configuration.
Constructed of dense, dark Cuban mahogany, weighing eighty five pounds. A very sturdy, solid piece.

Elevated on original petite bracket feet, and retaining all the indelible features of the Georgian Period.
