Vintage Parker Knoll PK 988-1026 High-Back Armchair

For sale is this beautifully preserved mid-century classic from the iconic British brand, Parker Knoll. This elegant high-back fireside armchair has been deeply loved, carefully revived, and stands as a timeless testament to authentic 1960s British design.

This piece is a cherished part of my personal collection. Remarkably, it features its 100% original, pristine vintage tapestry upholstery—sharing the exact same heritage, fabric pattern, and stamped born dates as the matching sofa from the same line. Together, they form an inseparable pair, ready to ground your living space in a truly cohesive, nostalgic vintage sanctuary.

Character & Heritage Details:
• The Wood Frame: Carefully stripped back and brought to life. True to its vintage soul, the right arm bears a few small markings—gentle signs of a life well-lived—while the left arm boasts a remarkably bold, breath-taking wood grain pattern that beautifully draws the eye.
• Original Tapestry Upholstery: Meticulously preserved vintage-style floral tapestry fabric. The subtle gold and warm earthy tones bring an instant layer of texture, history, and classic mid-century warmth that simply cannot be replicated by modern reproductions.
• The Seating Experience: Incredibly stable and completely structurally sound. It offers that classic, deep-seated Parker Knoll support that invites you to curl up, unwind, and truly relax.

Dimensions:
• Height: ~90 cm
