Exceptional Carved Mpingo Wood folding chair
The man who sold me this chair some 25 years ago described it as an "African Chiefs chair." and it does appear to be made of Mpingo or some similar wood. It is richly carved with an image of a Giraffe and a tree.
I no longer have space for it in my home
