Attractive oak country chair, circa 1780–1820, with a particularly decorative pierced splat back and beautifully shaped crest rail.
Solid boarded oak seat with traditional square legs and stretcher construction. Lovely warm colour and aged patina, with the expected marks and wear consistent with its estimated 200+ years of age.
A characterful and very decorative piece of Georgian-period country furniture.
