3 Antique X-Frame Oak Armchairs

These are three beautiful matching antique X-frame armchairs in oak with leather upholstery.

Design Features:
Dark-stained oak frames feature distinctive X-shaped legs joined by stretchers, curved arms, and subtle carved details like circular motifs on the legs. Brass nailhead trim outlines the seats and back panels, with reddish-brown leather showing patina, cracks, tears, and wear.

Likely early 20th-century Edwardian, with neoclassical X-frame echoes of ancient Roman or Greek "Klismos" chairs. The sturdy oak pegging and studding suggest British or Irish manufacture from ~1900-1920.

Structurally sound with tight joints, but leather is distressed and needs reupholstery. Oak finish shows wear but no major damage.
