For sale is a 120th anniversary commemorative mug issued for the establishment of WALTON in 1878. This mug may have been issued by Waltons Sheds Ltd of Nottinghamshire, England?
Tams pottery was established by John Tams and William Lowe in 1874. In 1988 the company was floated on the stock market and renamed as the John Tams Group plc but went into receivership in 2000. As a result of a management buyout in that same year, the company became the Tams Group Ltd and continued trading until they closed in 2006. For a while, the Tams Group Ltd was the largest manufacturer of ceramic mugs in Europe.
