Vintage Tunisian ceramic wall plates set of 4 hand painted Nabeul pottery colorful Mediterranean

Elevate your space with this stunning, curated collection of four vintage hand-painted ceramic wall plates from the famous artisanal pottery hub of Nabeul, Tunisia.

Dating from the late 20th century, these collectible pieces showcase iconic Mediterranean and North African folk art iconography.

The set features four distinct, traditional motifs:

The Fish: A protective Mediterranean symbol of good fortune, beautifully rendered amidst vibrant marine life and coral accents.

The Camel: A striking black silhouette layered over a rich floral background, symbolizing endurance.

The Bird: A colorful, highly detailed bird surrounded by traditional stylised florals, symbolizing prosperity.

The Geometric Medallion: An intricate, symmetrical blue and white design inspired by classic Islamic geometric arabesque patterns.

Each plate features a distinctive hand-dotted background & vibrant glazed finishes

Two of the plates retain their authentic maker markings on the back (one stamped "Artisanat Nabeul" in French script, and one signed "Nabeul" in hand-painted Arabic script), proving their regional authenticity.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition.

Glaze is bright and vibrant with no major cracks or heavy damage.

Minor natural firing imperfections and light wear on the unglazed reverse rims, typical of authentic, handmade studio pottery.

Perfect for a gallery wall layout, bohemian style interior, mid-century modern accenting, or unique kitchen display.

Authentic glazed terracotta ceramic / studio pottery. Complete set of 4 plates.

Handcrafted in Nabeul, Tunisia.

Ready to hang with pre-installed rear wire loops.
