Vintage Set of Five Oriental Style Cups and Saucers Featuring Girls in Traditional Chinese Costume, A Modern Take on the Antique Chinese and Japanese Wares

I’m still working on downsizing my collectables, and have moved onto some random items that don’t fit neatly into any of my collections and thus are surplus to my current requirements.

For sale here is a Vintage Set of Five Oriental Style Cups and Saucers Featuring Girls in Traditional Chinese Costume, A Modern Take on the Antique Chinese and Japanese Wares

They are lovely but just not my style. I bought them as part of a job lot a few years ago, and I was going to make china teacup candles out of them, but I have too much china saved for my next batch of candles so I don’t need these ones.

They are not vintage, I would say, more recent than that, but they have a nice look to them, while at the same time being more sturdy than the older vintage or antique examples.

There are five cups and six saucers, so selling as five trios.

They are in excellent condition with in the main with no chips, cracks, crazing, or pattern loss. Two cups have manufacturing flaws as photographed, one on the foot of a cup and one on a rim, and this has been considered when pricing the set.
