Vintage mid-century Capodimonte Style Italian Porcelain Stork Planter / Vase
Beautiful, vintage mid-century Italian porcelain figural planter / vase, crafted in the distinctive Capodimonte style.
This eye-catching piece features a beautifully sculpted stork standing alongside a cloth-style bundle that serves as the vase vessel. The bundle is adorned with highly detailed, hand-modeled 3D porcelain flowers, including a classic pink rose and delicate yellow bellflowers.
It features a high-gloss glaze with a stylized brown and cream ombre shading, typical of mid-to-late 20th-century Italian artisan pottery. A wonderful collectors' item or unique statement piece for a windowsill, console table, or shelving display.
In excellent condition, no chips, no crazing.
