Vintage KPM Krister saucer
Gorgeous 50's vintage saucer from KPM Krister. Icy white with gold banding, the banding has a ladder design in black. Subtle, simple and classic.
Krister (KPM) porcelain was founded by Carl Franz Krister in 1831. It was was located in Waldenburg (Silesia - formerly Germany) now Walbrzych Poland. In 1921 The company became part of the Rosenthal Porcelain Company. The KPM on the logo referred to the porcelain works founded by Carl Franz Krister. This mark along with letter "R" between the crown and KPM refers to a new Rosenthal facility built in Germany when the original KPM facility was ceded to Poland after World War II. It is believed this set was manufactured between 1952 and 1965 at Rosenthal's new facility under the KPM Krister name.
Appropriately back-stamped. In very good condition.
