Vintage Japanese Black Moriage Dragonware Teapot Set
This teaset for two comprising
Teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug
and 2 cups and saucers.
Each piece in the dragon pattern is decorated with embossed features including the dragon. The dragons are done in gorgeous colors of grey black, sky blue, and white combinations.
A unique feature is the Lithophane in one demitasse cup. if you hold a light underneath the cup and look inside the cup you will see a Geisha Lithophane .
Unfortunately this cup is cracked, see picture. Also the sugar bowl is glue repaired on the bottom rim and have a worn gilding.
