For sale is a beautiful mid-century vintage Italian Majolica art pottery vase featuring a striking twin-handled amphora design.
The vase features a cream textured body decorated with a vibrant, colourful hand-painted floral design. It uses the traditional 'sgraffito' technique, where detailed outlines are intricately carved directly into the clay.
The base is fully marked by the maker, featuring a handwritten "Italy" mark alongside pattern/inventory batch control numbers (14132 / 23).
Condition:: good condition with no major chips, structural cracks, or repairs. Very minor age-related wear to the base rim as expected with authentic mid-century pottery.
