Vintage glaze jar
Victorian storage jar with handles sourced from an old Wexford townhouse. Believed to be called a 'stew pot' in Nottingham-ware style originally produced in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Stoneware with a brown salt glaze and 'cobbled' design etched into surface. No lid. Very classical looking. Dimensions: H20cm, W20cm, diameter opening 15cm and base 10.5cm. In very good vintage condition: three small historical nicks on rims and one old chip under base. See photos for details. Collection only preferred. Postage at buyer's risk. Sell €45 fixed.
