Vintage Gibsons Jasperware Teapot

An exquisite vintage teapot by Gibsons, Staffordshire, England, with raised jasperware neo-classical figures on a glossy brown background around the top half of the teapot bowl. The bottom half, handle, spout and lid has a slightly metallic, mirrored finish, which is really eye catching and reflects the light beautifully.
The teapot is 9½" wide from spout tip to handle edge, 6" in diameter at the widest part of the bowl and 5" tall. Dates from the 1950s and is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
