Vintage German WGP Striped Brown Jasba Vase 22 cm

Retro Mid Century Modern 1950’s West German Pottery Striped Brown Jasba Vase Pattern 108/22 with a partial sticker remaining.
These vases feature a glossy brown (almost maroon) glaze with a multi-coloured pattern of stripes in various tones of pink, green, orange, yellow and white. It would appear to be a variation on the “Bamberg” pattern. The vases, with their gold rims and bases, have more than a slightly “glam” look to them and date back to the late 1950s.
In good condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear to the gold rims but this is not immediately obvious given the glossy nature of the finish overall. 
The vase is 22cm (9 in.)in height with a rim diameter of 7cm (2¾ in.), a maximum diameter of 10cm (4 in.), and base diameter of 7cm (2¾ in.)

Founded in 1926 by Jakob Schwaderlapp in Ransbach-Baumbach (who went on to form Ceremano in 1959). The name is derived from his name and the town where it was located (Jakob Schwaderlapp, Ransbach-Baumbach).
Production of vases ceased in 1975 and the company concentrated on industrial items and tiles (which they still make today).
