Vintage French Moustiers Decorative Faience Plate

This vintage French plate is ideal for a wall decoration or used as a stylish sharing platter. Hand made and hand decorated in a very traditional design using the traditional Provençale faïence colours. Marked on the reverse with Dux Moustiers, Fait Main and I believe the decorator’s mark, possibly the letter J. Based on 18th century motifs.

Sainte-Marie region, with representations of birds, insects and delicate floral motifs, all hand painted with great detail.
