Vintage French January Calendar Plate 8.5" Lace Edge New Year / Christmas Gift

Stunning vintage French calendar plate (Assiette des Mois) for the month of "Janvier" (January).
Featuring a beautiful, cosy winter illustration of a traditional family New Year greeting inside a French home, this plate is perfect for winter and Christmas styling, a rustic dining room display, or as a highly personal birthday or anniversary gift.
The plate is finished with an elegant, intricate molded lace-style border (aile façon dentelle) and a delicate gold gilt rim. Features the authentic rectangular stamp on the back.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition on display. No chips or cracks on the front face of the plate. Features beautiful, light vintage glaze crazing consistent with its age and minor wear to the gold gilt rim. There is a small flea-bite nick on the outer back edge rim and standard shelf wear on the reverse base ring from historical storage, both completely hidden when the plate is displayed.
