Vintage French December Calendar Plate 8.5" Lace Edge Christmas / Holiday Decor

Stunning vintage French calendar plate (Assiette des Mois) for the month of "Décembre" (December).

Featuring a beautiful, nostalgic winter illustration of figures ice skating near a snow-covered windmill, this plate is perfect for Christmas holiday styling, a festive winter gallery wall, or as a highly personal December birth-month birthday or anniversary gift.

The plate is finished with an elegant, intricate moulded lace-style border (aile façon dentelle) and a delicate gold gilt rim. Features the authentic rectangular "Faïencerie" stamp on the back.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition on display. No chips or cracks on the face of the plate. Features beautiful, light vintage glaze crazing consistent with its age. Minor vintage wear to the gold gilt rim. There is a small vintage age stain on the upper left back rim and minor surface storage marks on the reverse base ring, both completely hidden when the plate is displayed.
