Vintage Arklow Pottery Cake Display Plate in the Caroline Pattern, Made Exclusively for the China Showrooms Dublin

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.

I’m downsizing my Arklow Pottery collection next, and only plan on keeping a couple of patterns. I have a number of odds and ends and single plates that are now surplus to requirements.

For sale here is a Vintage Arklow Pottery Cake Display Plate in the Caroline Pattern, Made Exclusively for the China Showrooms Dublin.

It is the large smooth/rounded Cake Display Plate from a 21 piece teaset, the piece that is often missing, and sometimes replaced by a dinner plate, but this is the real deal.

It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or pattern loss. The inner rim of gilt is in good condition, but there is wear/rubbing to the rim of gilt at the edge, as photographed.
Check the photos for the respective backstamp, which shows that this was produced exclusively for the China Showrooms, which is a shop that I was dragged to most Saturdays as a kid!!!.

The Plate measures 9 inches/ 23cm in diameter.
