For sale is a unique pair (2 pieces) of large, decorative jugs (or vases) signed by the renowned British company James Kent Ltd. (Old Foley Pottery).

Key Information:

Manufacturer: James Kent Ltd., Longton, England.

Dating: 1930s (Art Deco period).

Design: Distinctive forest decor: textured ceramic (imitation bark) with hand-painted mushroom and flower appliqués. Signature: The original stamp on the bottom reads "JAMES KENT LTD, LONGTON, MADE IN ENGLAND" and the design number 2184.

🛠️ Condition

The items are in their original vintage condition and show signs of age:

Crack: Visible natural cracking (minor cracks in the glaze) typical of pottery from this period.

Crack (on the bottom): One of the jugs has a crack on the bottom (visible in the photos). IMPORTANT: The crack is stable and does not affect the watertightness of the jug – it does not leak when filled with water.
