Unique art pottery tile coaster
Unusual 60's art pottery artifact, an interesting display coaster for abstract Expressionism? attributed to Lothar Schall, Stuttgart, very collectable.
Beautifully hand painted and glazed. Metal surrounding holding the tile in place. Kunsthaus Schaller identity label still intact on the bottom.
The Kunsthaus Schaller was a private art dealership in Stuttgart. It mainly sold and represented artists of the classical modern age and local artists.
This item is attributed to Lothar Schall, a post-war artist, mainly associated with Abstract Expressionism, born in Stuttgart (DE) in 1924.
In good vintage condition with one chip on the corner.
It is square shaped and measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) X 6 inches (15.2 cm).
