For sale are two antique saltglaze stoneware jars (marmalade or jams). Both are about 5.5" (140mm) in height and in good undamaged condition. One has a monogram FMF G mark on the base for Food Manufacturers Federation - Glasgow, Scotland.

These types of jars are very retro-chic and make attractive desk holders for pens and the likes.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 5 1/2" height x 3 5/8" across (140mm x 92mm)..
Material(s): stoneware pottery.
Finish: salt-glaze.
Imprint: FMF G (Food Manufacturer's Federation Glasgow).
Approximate age: 1910s to early 1920s.

CONDITION:
Both jars in very good condition. No damage - no cracks, no chips. Some rust staining on one of the jars.
