For sale is a vintage decorative hand-painted collector's plate and was made by Royal Doulton during the late 1940's and into the 1950's. Titled THE HUNTING MAN, it shows an image of an early 19th century man in hunting garb and a fox's head behind. This plate is hand-painted and is in excellent condition.

Royal Doulton's Dxxxx catalogue numbers were produced from 1948 to 1960.

Size: about 10 3/8" diameter (280mm).
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: black outline transfer printed and all other colours hand-painted.
