Tall vintage ceramic cats in basket with metal hooks

This s tall and substantial. It has metal hooks at the back. It was standing beside a fireplace for years. It is in very good condition. I have been informed that this was originally designed and intended to hold milk and cream bottles under the guise of “ The Cats who got the Cream” It is a lovely item.
