Superb Vintage Five Piece Fruit-Shaped Cruet Set with Yellow Plastic Spoon in Excellent Condition

A possible impending house move has forced me into evaluating all the contents of my china cabinets and kitchen dresser and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize. I'm making progress but more items need to go!

For sale here is a Superb Vintage Five Piece Fruit-Shaped Cruet Set with Yellow Plastic Spoon

Naturalistically painted in realistic fruity colours of yellows/greens/oranges the set consists of a salt pot, pepper pot and lidded mustard pot all in the form of fruit (maybe apricots?) They sit on top of a base in the form of a leaf with a pair of cherries and leaves. (in the base are with three depressions for the pots).

The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or pattern loss. There is no maker’s stamp on the reverse, so I am not sure who the maker is. It’s obviously Carlton Ware in style but probably a copy by another English maker. The salt and pepper pots both have tight-fitting cork bungs.
I am selling this set complete with a cute little yellow plastic spoon which fits perfectly with the mustard pot.
The diameter of the base leaf plate is about 6 inches/15 cm by 5.5 inches/14 cm, and the height of the set at the highest point is about 2.5 inches/6.5 cm.

A fabulous cruet set, in the Carltonware style, I cannot find another example online.

A must for the collector of unusual kitsch kitchenalia. Perfect for display but equally suitable for use.
