For sale is a fine bone-china souvenir/merchandise mug issued by the Irish Association Social Club (UK) to promote the Sean Dempsey Set Dance Festival. This has been an annual event since 1987 and is held in Manchester.

This mug is also a nice piece of collectible nauticalia with its STENA LINE logo and presumably they were a sponsor of the festival. It is likely also that this mug was available for sale aboard the Stena Line Ireland-Britain ferries.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 3 5/8" high x 2 5/8" O.D. at the base (92mm x 67mm).
Finish: Screen printed with an overall clear vitreous glaze.
Material(s): Bone-china.
Imprint: None. Text reads FINE BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND.
Approximate age: 1990's/2000's? If anyone knows which year this mug was issued, I'd be grateful to hear from you.

CONDITION:
Excellent condition overall, pristine. No damage. Still retains a full gold trim around the lip of the mug and on the handle.
