"Trinkt Wie Eure Vater Aus Stein Den Wein", which translates: "drink the wine like your fathers - out of stone".
Vivid cobalt blue lettering on grey background and designs depicting grapes and some cherubs carrying the grapes.
The second jug has the German Adler 🦅 motif and comes from Frankfurt on the river Maine.
The plate is French but cannot decipher the stamp. It matches the jugs perfectly and is made by the same technique.
(Can also be used to hold the cream or milk for your coffee or tea, breakfast cereal or for sauces and syrup!)
