For sale are 7 vintage decorative hand-painted collector's plate made by Royal Doulton. These collector's plates are from their 'Professional' series and depict characters from their trades of times past.

The seven plates are:

TC1044 - THE JESTER
TC1045 - THE ADMIRAL
TC1046 - THE FALCONNER
TC1047 - THE PARSON
TC1048 - THE DOCTOR
TC1049 - THE HUNTING MAN
TC1050 - THE MAYOR

The Royal Doulton 'TC' catalogue number series were in use from 1960 to c.2000. The 'TC' prefix stands for 'Translucent China', which was a form of white porcelain developed by Royal Doulton as a less costly alternative to their fine bone china. Translucent China was made without the use of bone ash.

Size: about 10 1/2" diameter (268mm).
Material(s): translucent white china.
Finish: black outline transfer printed and all other colours hand-painted.
Imprint: Royal Doulton backstamp - see photos.
Weight (excluding transit packaging): each plate weighs about 500g
Approximate age: c.1960 to early 1970's.

All in excellent and clean and undamaged condition.
