Royal Delft Wall Plaque
Beautiful medium sized (23,8 cm) handpainted plate made in 1976 by De Porceleyne Fles in Delft, the Netherlands. The plate is painted in Delft polychrome style using red, green, yellow, blue and black colours against a cream white background. The decoration shows a bird of paradise and an insect in a fantasy garden with various Delft style plants, rocks and flowers. The edge is decorated with Delft style ornaments. The painting is of high quality.
