Rosenthal orchid Bjorn Wiinblad coffee/tea set

Gorgeous tea/coffee set with a striking orchid pattern by Rosenthal from Germany. This is part of the Rosenthal romance series and is designed by Bjorn Wiinblad.

The contemporary impression of the Orchid lends an oriental flair to the elegance of this design. The use of polychrome colours enhance this effect. This design is clear and vivacious with the face of the orchid flower shimmering and enhanced with gold and deep purple.

The ultra fine, icy white porcelain of this dinnerware is particularly beautiful and very light to handle. This is a rarity of modern production with a delightfully fragile, clearly defined design.

A wonderful collectable piece, never to be repeated which lends itself to the individualist who loves exclusivity. Consider the fact that this design was only produced for two years between 1986 and 1988, it will become increasingly rare and valuable.

All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs. The lid of the tea pot has an almost invisible flake. (Please see photo).
