Retro 1070's Kernewek Brown Drip Glaze Small Jug

A lovely retro small jug from the Kernewek Pottery company, Cornwall. It is a lovely organic shape and has a great brown drip glaze pattern on it, which was the iconic early glaze of the Kernewek Pottery Company which was established in 1975.

The pottery was based on a farm in Goonhavern, near Perranporth, Cornwall, until 1995 when there was a major kiln fire ruining the buildings there. The company ceased trading in 2005.

This small jug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. It stands 4 inches/ 10 cm tall.

Cheap at the price for a "Pocket-money collectable" ! Works well with other 1970's brown glazes from other English and Irish potteries.
