This is a vintage baby bowl by Royal Doulton showing the WWI cartoon characters
Pip, Squeak and Wilfred.
The cartoon picture, based on the Daily Mirror Wartime Cartoons by Bertram Lamb and A.B. Payne
is clear, strong and without any rubbing.
The image features Pip the dog, Squeak the penguin and Wilfred the Rabbit. The comic strip was created by Uncle Dick (B.J. Lamp) and the illustrations were drawn by A.B. Payne.
