A mid-20th century Chinese porcelain vase with crackle glaze and elephant head shaped handles. Mao Zedong era, Cultural Revolution period, 1966 to 1976. This one is from 1968.

The front side of the vase depicts Mao Zedong. The backside is covered with Mao Zedongs quotes and Communist mottos in Chinese. Back stamp Jiangxi Province, 1968 in Chinese on the bottom.

Mao Zedong, 1893 to 1976, was a communist revolutionary and the founder of the Peoples Republic of China. The Cultural Revolution was an upheaval launched by Mao Zedong during his last decade in power to renew the spirit of the Chinese Revolution.

Good condition, no cracks, no chips, no flakes, no repairs. Some natural age related wear marks may be found due to previous use.
