Highly collectible commemorative plates designed by John Maher to mark Pope John Paul II’s historic 1979 visit to Ireland. Unlike mass-produced souvenirs, these are from a strictly limited run of only 1,000 pieces made in Co. Wicklow.
• Plate 1: Knock Shrine (Numbered 306 of 1000)
• Plate 2: Pope John Paul II Portrait (Numbered 293 of 1000)
Both retain pristine gold-gilded rims with official 1979 crest stamps on the front.
Collection preferred due to the delicate nature of the items. Located in Delgany Co. Wicklow.
