Priory Pottery was founded by the well known Youghal Master Potter, Tony Breslin M.A. back in the early 1970s.
Tony along with the late Albert Cole (Chemist) founded
'Priory Ceramics' off Meatshambles Lane in Youghal back in 1960. This pottery developed into Youghal Pottery in 1966 and was located in Quarry Road where it operated until 1995. Tony Breslin is the author of 'The Claymen of Youghal'. The book covers the history of brick making in Youghal.
