Vintage 1972 Portmeirion Oil & Vinegar Jars – Botanical Collection – Stunning Pair

A beautiful and highly collectible pair of 1972 vintage oil and vinegar jars by Portmeirion Pottery, made in England and part of their iconic Botanic Garden series designed by Susan Williams-Ellis.

🌿 Design Details:

"V" Vinegar Jar: Features the Rhododendron Lepidotum motif, with a dragonfly illustration and the distinctive green "V".
"O" Oil Jar: Decorated with the Chamaedrys Speedwell plant and fluttering butterflies, marked with a bold green "O".
Each jar includes its original ceramic stopper.
🎨 This line is beloved for its vibrant, scientifically accurate botanical illustrations, inspired by 19th-century engravings. The Botanic Garden series has remained a flagship of British design for over 50 years.

✨ Condition:
Excellent vintage condition overall, with light crazing (fine glaze cracks) visible on the vinegar jar — typical of age and use, and clearly shown in photos. These do not affect functionality and have been factored into the price.
