Lovely Small Sandwich Plate and Matching Milk Jug in a Pretty Floral Pattern, by Faianta Sighisoara Porcelain, Romania.

My Covid Clearout continues again this weekend and now I have some extra dinnerware pieces for sale....

For sale here is a lovely small sandwich plate and matching milk jug in a pretty floral pattern, very shabby chic! The maker is Faianta Sighisoara Porcelain, Romania.

FS, Faianta Sighisoara Porcelain, was a porcelain factory set up in Sighisoara, Central Romania in 1957. The backstamps on both pieces say FS, Made in Romania. In addition to this the jug also features "An Rumain TIr A Dheánta", so this was made for the Irish Market and has quite some age, probably 1950/60's.

The pattern is floral themed with large open blooms with smaller buds and foliage, very shabby chic, country kitchen.

Both items are in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or pattern loss.

The sandwich plate measures 11.5 inches/ 29 cm by 6 inches/15 cm. The jug stands 4.5 inches/ 11.5 cm tall.

Price is for both items together and they would be more expensive if bought separately.

Perfect for everyday or special occasion use, as part of a mix and match shabby chic collection, and would be fabulous on display also, especially on a country style dresser.
