Lovely Set of Four Vintage Blue and White 10.5 Inch Large Dinner Plates By Myott in the Popular and Stylish Scandi "Finlandia" Pattern

I am continuing my effort to downsize, as I unfortunately have to replace the family car! I have a few more random pieces of Blue and White and Willow Pattern remaining, as I am trying to only keep my Arklow Willow!

I have quite the selection of Blue and White which I have collected over the years and used for buffets, afternoon teas, and for display on my kitchen dresser, but I have too much for my needs, and so these lovely plates can now go!

For sale here is a Lovely Set of Four Vintage Blue and White 10.5 Inch Large Dinner Plates By Myott in the Popular and Stylish Scandi “Finlandia” Pattern

This lovely blue and white transfer pattern is Scandi inspired and similar designs are produced by a number of Manufacturers. Myott Finlandia is a variation of the Denmark ( or Indies) design made popular by some of Europe's finest potteries including Furnivals, Masons, Royal Copenhagen and Wedgwood, following it's introduction to Europe in the early 1700's from the Orient.

A very stylish pattern with a lovely balance of the white and blue, with white being the predominant colour. The plate is a nice shape with a fluted and scalloped rim.

The plates are overall in good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or pattern loss, although there is age-related crazing present, as photographed. On one or two plates it is slightly discoloured and more obvious than on the others, as photographed.

The Large Dinner Plates measure 10.25 inches/ 26.5 cm in diameter.

Price is for all four plates as a set.

Perfect for special occasion use, as part of a mix and match blue and white dinner setting.

Would also look fabulous as part of a display of Blue and White on a kitchen dresser or as part of a wall feature. Especially nice to have an example that has more white than blue in the pattern, to make a wall of blue and white plates really pop.
