Lovely Collectable Arklow Pottery Cake Plate in Pattern Number 809, with Condition Issues - Shabby Chic!

A possible impending house move has forced me into evaluating all the contents of my attic and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize. I'm making progress but more items need to go!

I have quite the selection of individual decorative plates and dishes which I have collected over the years with the idea of having a mad wall display, but never quite got round to it, and I have too many to display elsewhere.

I also used some of them for the odd charity coffee morning to display cakes.

For sale here is a Lovely Collectable Arklow Pottery Cake Plate in Pattern Number 809, with Condition Issues - Shabby Chic!

It's a lovely plate and collectable pattern, but unfortunately this plate is somewhat showing it's great age. From the earlier period of Arklow Pottery, this has been well used and has a lot of discoloured crazing present, although no chips or cracks. I am unsure whether this plate ever had the additional gilt work, as there is none still present. A nice used example none the less, and may fir nicely in someone's Arklow collection

The plate measures 8.75 inches/22 cm in diameter.

Suitable for wall hanging, kitchen dresser display.
