Lovely Unique and Decorative Item for Display on a Dresser, Sideboard, Conservatory or Anywhere Indoor Plants are Displayed

I had this lovely Arklow Pottery Tureen bottom that was missing its lid and due to its age, is only suitable for display purposes. Way too pretty to just abandon, I decided to repurpose it as an indoor planter for a Cacti Garden

It is currently planted up with four different cacti with decorative stones and gravel, and the tureen should be big enough to hold this cacti garden for many years to come.

The tureen bottom is Arklow Pottery, most likely from the 1950’s and is not a pattern I have come across before. A lovely pattern with star shaped six petaled pink flowers and foliage.
The Tureen is crazed and slightly discoloured, so that the base colour is now a dark cream rather than white. This tureen has had a life! Hence the reason for potting it up for the future!

As cacti are slow growing and don’t need much water, the cacti in this cacti garden should be happy for many years to come.
