For sale is an unusual 2000 Millennium souvenir mug issued by the Longridge Primary School of Longridge in Lancashire, England.

This mug was issued to staff members of the school and depicts caricature portraits of all staff members in the school at that time, along with their names. The mug could also have been purchased by parents of pupils attending the school. A few staff members featured on this mug are still working at the school. The school has since been renamed as the Barnacre Primary School and have retained the same logo, albeit with a name change.

Tams pottery was established by John Tams and William Lowe in 1874. In 1988 the company was floated on the stock market and renamed as the John Tams Group plc but went into receivership in 2000. As a result of a management buyout in that same year, the company became the Tams Group Ltd and continued trading until they closed in 2006. For a while, the Tams Group Ltd was the largest manufacturer of ceramic mugs in Europe.
